Since the start of the year, nine high-rise buildings in the Inhulskyi district have been damaged by shelling: homeowners are awaiting compensation

In the Inhulskyi district of Mykolaiv, shelling in 2026 damaged nine high-rise buildings, 15 private houses, non-residential premises and educational establishments. 117 residential properties have already been inspected.

This was reported during a live broadcast by the head of the Inhulskyi district administration, Hanna Remennikova, according to NikVesti.

Damage caused by the shelling is being recorded by the Mykolaiv State Architectural and Construction Control Department. To date, the administration and the State Architectural and Construction Control Department have inspected 117 residential properties.

«58 applications for compensation for destroyed housing have been received and registered on the «Diia» Unified Portal of Public Services under the «eVidnovlennia» programme. These include 35 applications for residential properties damaged in 2026. Thirteen checklists have been drawn up for a total amount of 370,633 hryvnias and submitted to the city commission for review and approval. Checklists have been drawn up for four applications, totalling 359,006 hryvnias. These checklists are awaiting signature, and the homeowners will receive their money,» noted Hanna Remennikova.

She noted that commission inspections are planned for a further 19 properties. Twenty applications have already been processed, and compensation totalling 852,840 hryvnias has been calculated.

As a reminder, the State Architectural and Construction Inspection reported that although shelling of Mykolaiv has decreased compared to the start of the war, the number of damages has increased. In March alone, 110 damaged properties were inspected in the city.
