The fare for public transport in Pervomaisk has been increased to 16 hryvnias

Another town in the Mykolaiv region has raised public transport fares. In Pervomaisk, the bus fare will be 16 hryvnias.

This is stated in a decision by the executive committee of Pervomaisk City Council.

According to the decision, the fare for buses operating in regular service and minibus mode will be 16 hryvnias. The decision came into force on the day of its official publication — 24 April.

Additional agreements are to be concluded with transport operators.

The Executive Committee of the Pervomaisk City Council reported that the fare was supported by both members of the Executive Committee and transport operators.

«Carriers are advised to carry out additional explanatory work with drivers regarding the culture of passenger service, and maintaining proper sanitary conditions on vehicles and at terminal stops,» the Pervomaisk City Council reported.

As a reminder, fares on minibuses and buses in Mykolaiv were increased from 27 April, and on electric transport from 4 May. On average, fares rose by 33%.

From 1 April, bus fares were changed in Pivdennoukrainsk and Nova Odesa . The price increase was attributed, in particular, to the rise in fuel costs.
