In Odesa, border guards detained a 30-year-old resident of Kyiv on suspicion of helping men conscripted into military service to enter into fictitious marriages with women with many children and women with disabilities of the I or II group in order to get a postponement from mobilization and cross the border.
As reported by the State Border Service, a 30-year-old woman was looking for clients in a closed telegram channel. The cost of such a «service» was from $4,000 and depended on the disability and the number of children.
She also gave advice on crossing the border. Namely, how to behave and how to answer the questions of border guards.
The «matchmaker» was detained while receiving money from another «groom» who wanted to register a fictitious marriage with a mother with many children.
The police informed the woman about the suspicion. She was remanded in custody with the possibility of bail in the amount of 180,000 hryvnias. Currently, law enforcement officers are establishing the full circle of involved persons.
We will remind, in Mykolaiv and Uzhhorod three suspects were detained in the organization of illegal crossing of the border by conscripts.
