At night, the Air Force shot down 30 Russian drones, a third of them in Mykolaiv region

Last night, the Russian Federation launched two ballistic missiles and 38 attack drones over Ukraine. Ukrainian defenders managed to shoot down 30 Shaheds, 10 of them in the Mykolaiv region.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is reported that the enemy attacked with 2 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Voronezh region and 38 Shahed type UAVs from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk regions of the Russian Federation.

As a result of anti-aircraft combat, 30 enemy UAVs were shot down in the Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Kirovohrad, Kherson, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Cherkasy regions by mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, and EW means of the Air Force.

As the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported, 10 drones were shot down over the region at night. As a result of falling debris from one of them, a wooden farm building was destroyed in the Pervomaiskyi district. There are no casualties. In general, no shelling was recorded on the territory of the region.

According to the Sumy regional military administration, at night the Russian army launched a missile-aircraft attack on infrastructure facilities in the city of Sumy. All necessary services are available on site. Emergency and recovery works are carried out. The consequences of the attack are being clarified.

It was previously reported that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the operation in the Kursk region. According to him, this was necessary to ensure the security of the border areas from the Russian military.
