Border guards detained a truck with 41 people on the border with Moldova

On Thursday, June 13, in Odesa, border guards detained a truck with 41 people in a trailer. They tried to reach the border with Moldova.

Spokesman of the State Border Service (SBSU) Andriy Demchenko told about this on the air of the telethon.

«This vehicle was stopped several kilometers from the border. In the future, this group, most likely, could divide into smaller ones, or the criminal organizers invented some other way to move them across the border in the direction of Moldova,» he said.

According to Demchenko, men who tried to cross the state border are currently being checked. Law enforcement officers also opened a case against the driver for organizing an illegal border crossing.

We will remind that in Zakarpattia Oblast on Sunday, June 9, a GAZ-66 car with black license plates entered Hungarian territory illegally.
