The High Council of Justice made a decision to submit applications to the President of Ukraine for the appointment of 7 judges to positions in local courts.
The meeting was held on Thursday, June 13, «Law and Business» reports.
After conducting interviews with 10 applicants recommended by the High Court of Appeals for appointment as judges, the council accepted only 7 people. The candidacy of one of them, Oksana Zviahina, will be submitted to the President for consideration by the HCJ. The woman is applying for a position in the Bashtanka district court of the Mykolaiv region.
It is worth reminding that at the end of May, the Higher Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine recommended Oksana Zviahina for the post of judge.
It should be noted that the declaration under this name was submitted by a court consultant of the department of analytical and statistical work in the city of Vinnytsia.
Prior to that, the woman worked as the deputy chief of staff of the Kalanchatskyi district court in the Kherson region.
We will remind you that on May 9, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a number of decrees on the appointment of judges to positions in local general, commercial and administrative courts, as well as in regional commercial courts. Four of them are appointed judges in the Mykolaiv region.
On May 30, the Higher Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine recommended 16 candidates for the positions of judges of local courts in the Mykolaiv region.
How much did the judges of the Mykolayiv region earn in 2023?
The head of the Central District Court, Halyna Podzihun, also submitted a declaration of income for 2023. During this time, the official earned more than 1.6 million hryvnias.
The head of the Commercial Court of the Mykolaiv region, Maryna Mavrodieva, received 1.4 million hryvnias in income in 2023. She was paid an average of 118,000 hryvnias per month.
The income declaration was also made public by the deputy head of the Factory District Court of Mykolaiv, Iryna Bobrova. For 2023, the judge received 1.3 million hryvnias. The income of the chairman of the court, Serhii Shcherbyna, also amounted to 1.3 million hryvnias last year.
In 2023, the head of the Mykolaiv Court of Appeal, Ihor Livinskyy, earned 2.9 million hryvnias.
The income declaration for 2023 was submitted by the acting chairman of the Yuzhnoukrainsk City Court Oleksandr Savin. In a year, he earned more than 1.5 million hryvnias.
