In the evening of May 11, the Ministry of Energy predicts a shortage of electricity, so they are requesting to reduce consumption during the peak hours of 17:00-22:00.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

From 6:00 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Saturday, restrictions on industrial consumers were applied in all regions, except for the Kherson region. At the same time, the electricity supply of household consumers was not limited. Such actions were caused by a lack of capacity.

A shortage of electricity is also predicted for May 11. Consumers are urged to reduce the use of appliances that consume a lot of electricity, and industry 0 to review production processes for savings.

For the current day, the import of electricity is forecast to be 16,977 MWh. Export is not expected.

Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Energy does not rule out an increase in electricity tariffs.
