Residents of Mykolaiv complained about the driver of route 82. According to the testimony of local residents, the man plays Russian music in the cabin, and responds to passengers' complaints with abuse.
Such a complaint was published by Mykolaiv resident Svitlana Inashevska in the contact center of the Mykolaiv City Council.
The people of Mykolaiv consider this behavior of the driver to be an insult to the memory of the dead Ukrainians. According to the passengers, the driver replied that «he has no war» when asked about the third year of full-scale war.
«To the words that there is a war in Ukraine, our soldiers and civilians die every day from Russian weapons (and Russian music is also a weapon, because first Russian music, and then Russian tanks), he replies that there is no war. In response to the words about Law 2310-IX of the Verkhovna Rada regarding the ban on playing music in public transport, he says let him be fined,» the message reads.
It should be noted that on October 7, 2022, Law No. 2310-IX came into force, which provides for restrictions on the playback of music and films in public transport. This also applies to taxis. Drivers can turn on music only if the passenger does not object.
NikVesti turned to the transport complex management of the Mykolaiv City Council for a comment, but they replied that they had not yet received any complaints. But they promise to solve the issue. They cannot yet say what the driver is in danger of. It should be noted that on route 82 transport of the carrier «Pryvatavtoliuks» operates.
«I have not yet seen information about this complaint. Thank you for what you said, now we will recruit the head of the enterprise and we will decide. We are talking to the manager of the enterprise, and the manager has already made a decision regarding the specified driver. We don't receive such complaints often,» said Oleh Kuksa, Deputy Head of the Transport Complex, Communications and Telecommunications Department of the Mykolaiv City Council.
We will remind you that in March of last year in Mykolaiv, after a complaint about chanson and other Russian-language music playing in minibus №21, the driver was forced to remove the radio from the cabin.
