The German company Notus Energy is in charge of the implementation of the 300 MW wind farm project in the Odesa region, the first stage of which will be 120 MW.
This was reported by its commercial director Knud Rissel, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
«After the full-scale invasion, we continued to work on this project in Odesa from spring 2022, and now we are in the process of building a 300 MW wind farm, with the first phase of 120 MW coming soon. We already have all the permits, in particular, related to the land. Banks support us, although they also take risks by supporting us. But we are all ready to work even under martial law,» he said during a thematic panel discussion on energy at URC-24 in Berlin.
According to Rissel, the company signed certain agreements regarding the implementation of the project at this conference.
He assumed that the first stage of the wind turbine will not be launched in the coming winter, but the company is doing everything to launch the project as soon as possible. At the same time, Rissel noted that there are some problems with the logistics of the equipment, but Notus is solving them.
«We have short-, medium- and long-term plans for work in Ukraine,» the commercial director assured.
As previously reported, the first wind energy complexes of the Naftogaz group will be built in the Mykolaiv and Odesa regions.
