The Russian army lost 592,000 soldiers in the war with Ukraine

Over the past day, the Russian army lost another 1,080 people in Ukraine. In total, since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, the Russians have lost approximately 592,000 of their troops.

This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Russians are also losing their military equipment and weapons. In particular:

  • tanks — 8,450 (+3 over the past day);
  • armored fighting vehicles — 16,368 (+5);
  • artillery systems — 16,728 (+65);
  • rocket salvo fire systems — 1,148 (+3);
  • air defense equipment — 919 (+1);
  • airplanes — 366;
  • helicopters — 328;
  • UAVs of the operational-tactical level — 13,472 (+73);
  • cruise missiles — 2,426 (+1);
  • ships/boats — 28;
  • submarines — 1;
  • automotive equipment and tankers — 22,590 (+66);
  • special equipment — 2,801 (+1).

It is noted that these data are not final and are still being refined. The General Staff explained that the casualty summaries indicate the number of dead occupiers together with the wounded.

We will remind you that the previous day, Russian troops once again shelled the Kherson region. As a result of the attack, one person died, 11 were injured.
