In the Sumy region, on the night of March 7, Ukrainian border guards stopped a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group.

This is reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine.

«Last night, border guards as part of the Defense Forces discovered a hostile sabotage and reconnaissance group moving from the side of the Russian Federation,» the message reads.

Border guards immediately opened fire on the saboteurs with small arms and grenade launchers. The Russians retreated. The border guards added that the losses of the enemy are being clarified.
