On the night of August 1, the Russian military launched a missile attack on one of the railway stations in the Kharkiv region.

As the press service of «Ukrzaliznytsia» reports, as a result of the attack, the conductor received shrapnel wounds to the head. She was given medical assistance, she refused hospitalization.

«Among the damaged are two locomotives, cargo and passenger cars. There is also the destruction of tracks and means of power supply,» the report says.

It is noted that as a result of the strike, spot changes were made to the timetables of suburban trains, and long-distance trains continue to run using reserve diesel locomotives.

It will be recalled that the law enforcement officers detained a man who is suspected of preparing a series of arsons at the strategic facilities of «Ukrzaliznytsia» in Kyiv. He faces life imprisonment.
