In the schools of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, due to shelling, the spring vacation began three days earlier.

Thiswas announced by the governor of the Belgorod region, Viacheslav Hladkov.

The General Staff of the region decided on the early start of vacations in the schools of Belgorod, Yakivlivske city district and border municipalities. Colleges and universities there will temporarily switch to distance learning.

Sections of additional education for children and adolescents will not work in these areas. In the rest of the territory of the Belgorod region, planned vacations will begin next week.

In addition, meters will not be checked in the Belgorod district until May 1.

The day before, Viacheslav Hladkov announced that from March 20 entry to six border settlements of the Belgorod region will be restricted. At the entrance to populated areas, posts will be set up, where border guards, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and local administration will be on duty.

Attacks on Belgorod

On March 14, the governor of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, Viacheslav Hladkov, said that the city came under shelling in the morning, resulting in one person killed and injured.
