Mykolaiv sportsmen won 24 awards at the Ukrainian modern dance championship

Pupils of the Mykolaiv dance school «Yes I Can» won 24 prizes at the Ukrainian modern dance championship.

The school administration informed NikVesti about this.

It is noted that the championship of the National championship in modern dances «Life in Dance» was held from December 2 to 3 in Kyiv under the auspices of the Association of Modern and Pop Dances of Ukraine.

A total of 31 school representatives from 3160 Championship participants took part in the competition. Athletes represented Mykolaiv in such types of dance as: hip-hop, jazz-funk, break dance, k-pop, waacking and vogue and showed the following results:

Age category 2007 and older:

• Hip Hop National Championship — 1st place, Bilyi Serhii, 16 years old.

• Hip Hop Championship of Ukraine — 1st place, Bilyi Serhii, 16 years old.

• Vogue Championship of Ukraine — 1st place, Sofiia Samoilova. 19 years old.

• Jazz-funk 2nd league — 1st place, Samoilova Sofiia. 19 years old.

• Me against the music (one age category) — Kolos Mariia, 20 years old.

• Break dance championship of Ukraine — 2nd place, Dniprovskyi Maksym, 16 years old.

• Waacking championship of Ukraine — 3rd place, Valeriia Lebedeva, 20 years old.

Age category 2008-2009:

• K-pop National championship — 1st place, Svydro Yuliia, 14 years old.

• K-pop 2nd league — 2nd place, Rubanik Anastasia, 15 years old.

• Hip-Hop first league — 3rd place, Ohnyanikova Tetiana, 15 years old.

• Hip-Hop National Championship — 1st place, Kseniia Palamarchuk, 15 years old.

 

Age category 2010-2011:

• Hip-hop 1 League — 1st place, Yemelin Vladyslav, 11 years old.

• Break dance Championship of Ukraine — 1st place, Yemelin Vladyslav, 11 years old.

• Jazz-funk 2nd league — 2nd place, Toropova Veronika, 12 years old.

• K-pop 2nd league — 1st place, Marharyta Kulyk, 13 years old.

Age category 2014-2015:

• K-pop 2nd league — 1st place, Oleksandr Tsurkan.

• Break dance 2nd league — 1st place, Dmytro Oliinyk, 7 years old.

«In duets, 1st place in the Hip-hop category (age category 2007 and older), the victory was chosen by Kolos Maria and Valeriya Lebedeva. 2nd place in the Jazz-funk category (age category 2007 and older) was taken by Eva Hirniak and Maria Kolos,» the message reads.

In common rooms, the following awards came to Mykolaiv:

• Jazz-Funk Yusy Small Group Championship of Ukraine — 2nd place.

• Hip-Hop Yusy Small Group Championship of Ukraine — 1st place.

• POP Juniors Small Group Championship of Ukraine — 1st place.

• Jazz-funk Street dance show Adults Formation Open league — 2nd place.

• Hip-hop Street dance show Adults Formation Open league — 1st place.

«Mykolaiv once again reminded at a high level of his creative and dancing skills, strength of spirit and thirst for victory,» the dance school noted.

It will be recalled that Mykolaiv sportsmen won the prizes of the All-Ukrainian kickboxing competition in honor of the fallen heroes of Ukraine.

In addition, athletes from Mykolaiv won medals at the All-Ukrainian National Fencing Competition.
