Mykolaiv sportswoman Sadurska set a new world record in freediving

Mykolaiv sportswoman Kateryna Sadurska set a record at the World Deep Freediving Championship in Kalamata, Greece. In the discipline «constant weight without fins» (CNF), she dived to a record 80 meters.
She also won gold in free diving on a rope (FIM) with a result of 95 meters. The 32-year-old Ukrainian woman became the world champion in this discipline for the third time in a row, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine reported.
«And, like all my previous victories, I dedicate this one to Ukraine, our defenders and everyone who fights for our freedom,» the athlete wrote on social networks.
Kateryna Sadurska also holds a national record (103 m) in monofin diving at the world championships in Greece. She took fourth place in this discipline.
We will remind that in 2023, swimmer Kateryna Sadurska won the championship in the discipline of free diving at the competition in Honduras, diving to 97 meters.
Also, in July of last year, in the discipline of diving with a constant weight without fins, she dived to 77 meters, setting a new world record.
