Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk in a match with boxer Tyson Fury defended the title of the absolute champion of the world in super heavy weight, retaining all four championship belts.
This is known from the broadcast of the fight.
The match took place in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. All four championship belts were at stake: WBA, WBO and IBF, which Usyk owned, and the WBC, which belonged to Fury.
The fight lasted all twelve rounds, the judges gave the victory to Usyk by split decision — 115:112, 113:114, 114:113.
The Ukrainian became the first absolute champion in super heavyweight since 1999.
As you know, in February, the fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury for the four main titles of the super heavyweight world champion, which was supposed to take place on February 17, was postponed due to an injury to the British.
Earlier it became known that the British heavyweight athlete Tyson Fury returned to boxing for a championship match with Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk. If the Ukrainian wins, he will become the absolute world champion in super heavyweight.
