The EU allocated €25 million for the repair of damaged facilities in three regions, including Mykolaiv region

The European Union allocated 25 million euros for new projects for the repair and modernization of damaged objects in five cities of the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Mykolaiv regions.

The procurement phase is currently underway, the Northern Environmental Finance Corporation (NEFCO) said.

These projects will be focused on the modernization and repair of facilities for the provision of communal services in the areas of centralized heating, water supply and drainage. NEFCO in this case provides technical management of the projects. These are five projects in Chernihiv and Nizhyn of Chernihiv Oblast, Okhtyrka and Trostianka of Sumy Oblast, and Pervomaisk of Mykolaiv Oblast.

Before that, it was reported that the Northern Environmental Finance Corporation (NEFCO) will allocate more than 4 million euros to restore water supply networks in the Ship district of Mykolaiv.
