In the near future, Lithuania plans to hand over a new package of military aid to Ukraine, which will include short-range air defense systems, missiles, anti-drone and other equipment, weapons and ammunition.

Prime Minister of Lithuania Ingrid Šimonite said this at a press conference in Kyiv on August 24, RBC writes.

She promised that this package will arrive in Ukraine by the beginning of September. In addition, by the end of autumn, Lithuania plans to deliver more than 5,000 Lithuanian-made drones and allocate 35 million euros for the purchase of radars and demining equipment.

Ingrid Šimonite also noted that the Lithuanian government has committed to annually spend 0.25% of GDP on aid to Ukraine.

We will remind you that earlier the Lithuanian government agreed to allocate 5 million euros to support the education sector of Ukraine. The funds will be directed to the restoration of destroyed schools and kindergartens in Ukraine, as well as the equipment of bomb shelters.
