The United Nations Development Program in Ukraine, with the support of the Government of Denmark, handed over three special vehicles for Mykolaiv Oblast.
This is reported on the official page of UNDP in Ukraine.
Cars were handed over to Snigurivka, Voznesensk and Mostove communities. The vehicles will become mobile clinics equipped for conducting basic medical examinations, providing consultations and operational assistance.
Mobile clinics will reduce the response time of medical workers. Family doctors will be able to provide preventive and diagnostic services directly in remote settlements.
«This initiative will strengthen the ability of local medical institutions to provide high-quality care in the face of the growing burden on the health care system, as well as reduce the response time of medical workers to calls even in the most remote settlements,» the message says.
Earlier, Denmark announced that it plans to allocate 130 million euros to Ukraine for the development of its defense and industrial complex.
