International aid: house in Voznesensk restored after rocket attack

The international organisation ACTED has helped to restore a residential building in Voznesensk that was damaged by a rocket attack on 10 July 2024.
According to the press service of the Voznesensk City Council, the house at 2nd Lisna Street suffered significant damage: the debris damaged the roof, smashed windows and destroyed the roof structure.
As of today, the repair work has been completed. The roof frame was restored, the roof was replaced, and the facade of the house was plastered.
«Today, the residents of the house already have a safe roof over their heads, and the Voznesensk community is an example of how international assistance saves lives», the statement said.
Missile attack on Voznesensk on 10 July
At around 15:30, the Russian army launched a missile attack on a civilian facility in the town of Voznesensk. The Russian attack killed a man and reportedly injured seven people. Among them was the mayor of Voznesensk, Yevhen Velychko.
Later, the State Emergency Service of Mykolaiv region showed the aftermath of the strike and the process of firefighting.
On 11 July, it became known that the number of victims had increased to 8. Four of them are in hospital.
At the time of the explosion, an air alert was declared throughout the Mykolaiv region. The press service of the Ukrainian Air Force also warned that a high-speed target heading for Voznesensk had been spotted in the region.
