In the afternoon of February 2, the Russians carried out an airstrike on high-rise buildings and private residential buildings in Kherson, as a result of which two people were injured.
Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson RMA, and the State Emergency Service reported this.
«The occupiers set fire to a residential building in the central part of the city. A three-story building was partially destroyed, and nearby houses were also damaged,» Oleksandr Prokudin wrote.
According to him, two residents were injured as a result of the shelling. A 73-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with a blast injury, a contusion and a leg injury. Another victim is a 17-year-old boy, who was also hospitalized.
As you know, during the past day, February 1, the enemy carried out 279 shellings in the Kherson region, firing 1,606 shells using artillery, mortars, anti-aircraft guns, tanks, UAVs and aviation.
Also, on February 1, two volunteers from France were killed and three more foreigners were wounded due to an enemy attack on Beryslav. An ambulance brigade was also attacked by the Russian army in the Kherson region.
