The Russians fired at the TPS in Dnipropetrovsk region: some consumers are without electricity

On the night of February 13, the Russian military shelled one of the TPS in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as a result of which the plant stopped working.

This is reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

«The power units (TPS — IF-U) were turned off, the station was unloaded and stopped producing electricity,» the department's press service noted.

According to the ministry, as a result of the shelling, a large-scale fire broke out, which the emergency services managed to put out in a few hours. After the inspection, significant damage to the equipment was found.

In turn, as reported by DTEK, according to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

An overhead power line was also disconnected, which led to short-term power outages for consumers.

«Currently, the elimination of the consequences of the fire and clarification of the scale of the damage is underway. All consumers of the city of Dnipro have electricity,» the Ministry of Energy noted.

We remind you that Russian troops again struck the territory of the Mykolaiv region. The communities of Kutsurub and Ochakiv came under enemy fire.

Also, on the night of February 13, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 23 Shahed-136/131 attack drones. Ukrainian air defense forces managed to destroy 16 enemy drones within the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
