This was announced by the Deputy Head of the Department of Civil Protection of Mykolaiv region, Olena Horbachova, during a briefing on November 19, NikVesti writes.
According to her, among the new shelters:
- 146 simplest shelters,
- 18 primary shelters.
«Today, a fund of protective structures consisting of 1,613 objects has been created in the Mykolayiv region. This includes 250 storage facilities, 703 anti-radiation shelters and 636 of the most basic shelters, which were arranged as part of building up the fund during martial law,» said Olena Horbacheva.
In addition, for the period from 2022, 26 primary shelters have been set up at public transport stops: 19 in Mykolaiv and 7 in Ochakiv.
«Additionally, 26 primary shelters have been installed at public transport stops — 19 in Mykolaiv and 7 in Ochakiv. During this year, the total number of shelters in the region increased by 164 structures, including 146 of the simplest shelters and 18 primary shelters. In total, the number of ready-made shelters increased by 283,» Olena Horbachova added.
