Rocket attack on Kryvyi Rih: number of casualties rises to 17

As a result of the evening attack by Russian troops on Kryvyi Rih on 2 April, four people were killed and the number of wounded increased to 17.

This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak and the head of the city's Defence Council Oleksandr Vilkul.

One child is among the injured. 11 people are currently in hospitals, one of them in critical condition.

The rocket attack caused significant damage: nine multi-storey buildings, a post office, a petrol station, administrative buildings, as well as cars and garages were damaged.

An aid centre has been set up in the city to help residents receive construction materials and apply for financial support.

We would like to remind you that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to this strike. According to him, it was a «targeted» Russian missile strike.

Russia also attacked three communities in Mykolaiv region with drones, damaging a house and an administrative building.
