Since the start of the full-scale invasion, 112 cases of dangerous objects exploding have been recorded in the Mykolaiv region. As a result of these incidents, 139 people were injured and 35 people were killed.

This was reported by Olena Horbachova, head of the civil protection department of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, during a briefing on 25 February, according to NikVesti.

According to her, 104 people were injured, including 15 children, and four children were among the dead.

The highest number of explosions was recorded in 2023. At that time, there were 67 incidents, 59 wounded, including seven children, and 15 dead, including one child.

«If we look at the statistics for 2025, we see a gradual decrease in incidents. If there were 67 cases in 2023, 23 in 2024, and 16 in 2025, this indicates that the territories are becoming safer. At the same time, the responsibility of citizens remains very important,» said Olena Horbachova.
