Air defense shot down four enemy Shahed drones over the Mykolaiv region: a fire broke out from the wreckage

On the night of July 10, air defense in the Mykolaiv region destroyed four unmanned aerial vehicles of the «Shahed 131/136» type.

This was reported by Mykolaiv RMA.

About the movement of drones over the region, the head of the RMA, Vitalii Kim, reported at around 10:25 p.m.

As a result of the fall of the fragments of the downed drone, a dry grass fire broke out in an open area. Mykolaiv firefighters promptly extinguished the fire.

No other shelling was recorded on the territory of the Mykolaiv region.

Shelling of Mykolaiv Oblast on July 8

On July 8, the Russian army launched missile strikes on a number of Ukrainian cities: Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk, and Sloviansk.

In addition, shelling was also recorded on the territory of the Mykolaiv region. In particular, at around 11:50 in the afternoon, an anti-aircraft system worked in the region, destroying cruise missiles. Several fires broke out due to falling debris in open areas.

Around 2:25 p.m., residents of Voznesensk district heard the explosions. At that time, the Air Force reported the movement of rockets in the Mykolaiv region in a north-western direction.

Later, Vitalii Kim reported that an enemy missile had hit the territory of the farm. Two residents were injured, including a 5-year-old child.

In general, all four districts of the region were affected by the Russian attack on July 8.

Rocket attack on July 9

On the night of July 9, the Russian army hit the Bashtanka district with a ballistic missile. Employees of the enterprise — men aged 27 and 38 — received shrapnel injuries. The RMA reports that they are both hospitalized in a moderate condition.
