The head of the education department of the Kryvoozer community in the Mykolaiv region is accused of abuse of office, which caused damage to the budget in the amount of more than 170 thousand hryvnias.

The case was transferred to the court, the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office reported.

According to the investigation, in September 2022, the accused unjustifiably transferred more than 170 thousand hryvnias of budget funds to the enterprise. It is noted that before this, the official violated the law «On Public Procurement» and unjustifiably changed the essential terms of the contract in terms of increasing the price of coal for heating the community's schools.

Also, the chief accountant of one of the Voznesensk schools in the Mykolaiv region was informed of the suspicion of misappropriating budget funds by abusing her official position.
