A man who was injured as a result of a Russian missile attack on Odesa on April 29 died in the hospital.

This was reported on May 8 in the Odesa City Hall.

«Unfortunately, the number of victims of the Russian attack on Odessa on April 29 has increased to 7 people. Another man born in 2001 died in the hospital today, for whose life the doctors fought until the last,» the message states.

As of the morning of April 30, the number of victims of yesterday's rocket attack on Odesa has increased to 5. A child is among the seriously injured. In Odesa, April 30 was declared a day of mourning.

Head of the Strategic Communications Center of the Southern Defense Forces, Dmytro Pletenchuk, said that Russian troops, according to preliminary data, attacked Odesa with an Iskander missile with a cluster munition. Such weapons are designed to kill a large number of people.

Prosecutor General Andrii Kostin stated that the military leadership of the Russian Armed Forces deliberately hit Odesa with an Iskander ballistic missile with a cluster warhead on April 29 in order to kill as many civilians as possible.
