Over the past day, on March 13, the occupiers shelled populated areas of the Sumy region. A total of 374 hits were counted, and there were fatalities.

This was reported by the police of Sumy region.

According to law enforcement officers, three people were killed and 12 others were injured as a result of Russian shelling. 27 private houses and two high-rise buildings were damaged. Civil infrastructure was also destroyed.

According to the information of the Sumy Regional Government, during the night and in the morning, the Russians carried out 13 shellings of the border territories and settlements of the region.

The Russian army also carried out missile and air strikes on radio engineering facilities in the Sumy region. As a result, the broadcasting transmitters were temporarily disabled. Due to the damage, part of the territory of the region cannot receive Ukrainian television and radio signals. Interruptions with mobile communication are possible.
