The Security Service detained a man who is suspected of cooperating with the Russian Federation and preparing missile strikes on units of the Armed Forces, as well as objects of the fuel and energy complex in the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.

This is reported by the SSU.

According to the intelligence service, among the enemy's main targets were military airfields and air defense units, as well as oil refineries, fuel depots and key energy-generating enterprises.

«In order to obtain the coordinates of the objects, the suspect traveled around the area and secretly recorded the locations he needed on his phone's camera. He passed on the received information to a staff member of the FSS department in Moscow and the Moscow Region,» the report said.

Law enforcement officers detained the suspect when he was conducting reconnaissance near the location of Ukrainian troops in the Kyiv region. According to the cyber experts of the Security Service, the suspect came to the attention of the Russians because of the anti-Ukrainian comments he wrote on pro-Russian Telegram channels.

The investigators informed the detainee of suspicion under part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law). The perpetrator is now in custody, facing life imprisonment.
