During the Peace Summit in Switzerland as part of the discussion panel «Humanitarian Dimension. Release of prisoners and deported persons», the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Andriy Kostin, reported that the Russian occupiers had already killed more than 12,000 civilians.

He was informed in the press service of the OPU.

According to the Prosecutor General, law enforcement officers have already documented almost 130,000 cases of war crimes committed by the Russian military, including 301 cases of sexual violence.

Kostin noted on Facebook that Russia commits a crime against Ukraine and Ukrainians every 10 minutes.

Also, according to him, the Russians killed more than 12 thousand civilians, including 551 children — this is only according to confirmed data.

Dmytro Lubinets, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, emphasized that all people in Russian captivity are subject to systematic torture. There are at least 14,000 such cases confirmed.

We will remind you that recently the correspondent of NikVesti spoke with the president of the Global Rights Compliance Foundation to find out whether it is realistic to bring the Russian military to justice.
