A resident of the village of Pervomaiske, Mykolaiv district, will be tried on charges of attempted murder of two of his fellow villagers, as well as possession of ammunition without a permit.

This was reported in the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to the investigation, in March 2024, the accused, being intoxicated, entered into a conflict with his fellow villager, after which he entered his house and threw a grenade. At that time, in addition to the owner, there was one more person in the house.

As a result of the explosion, the victims received bodily injuries, one of them seriously.

The accused is liable to imprisonment for up to 15 years.

Earlier in Mykolaiv, the police detained a man for illegal handling of a grenade. Bullets were also found at the man's home.
