On Friday evening, February 23, on one of the highways in the Odesa region, a company of unknown persons opened a grain truck of a Mykolaiv supplier, spilling up to 5 tons of agricultural products on the road.
The owner of the grain truck told about this in a comment to NikVesti.
For about a day, the driver stood on the side of the road due to the breakdown of the car, trying to repair it himself. At 12:00 p.m., unknown persons drove up to him in two cars, blocking the driver's movement from both sides.
The owner said that the unknowns justified their actions by the fact that the driver's van was apparently overloaded.
«The argument about overloading is what they thought so. They supported the truck on both sides with cars. The police were called there to send for weighing. Our driver said that there are no problems, he is ready to repair and go to the weighing. The driver recorded the entire conversation on video, after which these people took his phone, threatened him, and continued the «conversation,» the truck owner said.
After a long conversation, the driver left the car and in the evening at 17:30 one of the unknown persons approached the side of the truck, opened it and drove away from the scene. Up to 5 tons of grain spilled from the truck onto the road.
«The situation is absolutely unpleasant. It was the first time I encountered such barbarism. Some unknown people in balaclavas are demanding something. While such a critical situation is happening in the country, on the border with Poland, where the Poles scatter our grain, the question arises, how can our people do such a thing? There was a loss of $500, but that's not the point, but the fact that in the middle of the day someone can put pressure on people and demand something from them. «What kind of suicide is this?» said the man.

The grain that the Polish protestors scattered at the «Medyka» station from two Ukrainian freight cars was headed to Germany in transit through Poland.
On February 1, in front of the checkpoint «Yahodyn — Dorohusk», where the traffic of trucks has been blocked for the third day, Polish farmers dumped part of the grain from three Ukrainian trucks.
On February 13, law enforcement officers in Poland opened a case against protesting farmers who spilled Ukrainian grain on the ground.
Poland's Minister of Agriculture Czeslaw Sekerski apologized to Ukraine for the spilled grain incident that happened on Sunday on the Polish-Ukrainian border.
