Yoga classes are held in Mykolaiv with dogs that were evacuated from the Kherson region

Dance and Pilates studio «Mriya» started yoga classes in Mykolaiv with dogs from the shelter, which were evacuated from the Kherson region during the full-scale war.

The classes are designed to help the animals find a new home, Iryna and Daniella, the founders of the studio, told «Nikvesti» in a comment.

«Mriya» cooperates with the shelter «Pride» from where dogs are brought for training every week. The girls assure that it is absolutely not harmful for the animals, but on the contrary, it contributes to their socialization and helps them feel needed.

— We have been thinking about it since April, got inspired by the idea, realized that there was no such thing in Mykolaiv and decided to try it. We called a lot of shelters and got in touch with Anna Kurkurina, a volunteer at the Pride shelter. We realized that there were very cute dogs there, went to the shelter, looked at them. They all jump like that and want to find the whole house, so we decided to give it a try, — say the founders of the studio.

Training takes place every weekend. The class itself lasts 45 minutes, the other 15 minutes visitors can play with the dogs.

The cost of one such yoga class is 300 hryvnias. Part of the proceeds from the training goes to food for the animals at the «Pride» shelter.
