MP of the «Greater Moldova» party, Victoria Furunte, called for a revision of the borders and said that her country should regain access to the Black Sea by regaining control over Bujak, a region that is now part of Ukraine's Odesa region.

According to Gagauznews, during her speech, Furunte said that Moldova's borders were formed unfairly, which allegedly deprived the country of a sea access.

According to her, «Moldova without the sea is like a lion on a chain», and she knows «how to return Bujak today».

«We are crippled by borders drawn on a ruler. And we have been deprived of access to the sea through Bujak. And without access to the sea, Moldova is like a lion on a chain. I know how to return the Bujak today, and this is more important than ever,» said Furunte.

She also expressed the opinion that Moldova has the right to revise its borders based on the principles of self-determination and territorial integrity. In her opinion, there is no ratified document that would confirm Ukraine's official possession of the Bujak region.

The politician called for the creation of a «Greater Moldova», independent of external financial resources, and stressed the country's desire for a sovereign future.

It should be recalled that the Kremlin also claims Ukrainian territories, namely four regions, and plans to fully seize them by the end of the year. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
