In Slovakia, at a meeting of the National Council, the deputies did not have enough votes to condemn the rocket attack by Russian troops on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv.
This was reported by the Slovak publication Aktuality.
During the meeting, MP from the opposition party «Progressive Slovakia» Beata Yuryk proposed to add to the agenda the adoption of a resolution condemning the Russian attack on the «Okhmatdyt» hospital. However, another deputy, Pavel Guptak, expressed doubts about whether Russia was really involved in the missile strike, asking: «Were you there?».
In the end, only 41 deputies voted for putting the resolution on the agenda, so parliamentarians did not consider it.
We will remind you that on the morning of July 8, Russia attacked Ukraine. Defense forces shot down 30 out of 38 rockets of the invaders. On this day, a rocket hit the premises of the National Children's Specialized Hospital Okhmatdyt.
