During the full-scale war, 33,000 residents of the Mykolaiv Oblast were mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, about 33,000 residents of the Mykolayiv region have mobilized to the Armed Forces.

This was announced by the head of Mykolayiv RMA, Vitalii Kim, in an interview with «We are Ukraine», NikVesti writes.

The head of the RMA commented on the serving of summonses in gyms and nightclubs in other regions of the country, noting that there are no such cases in the Mykolaiv region. He also said that work on issuing subpoenas continues, but Mykolaiv Oblast is the region that has shown the best results in terms of mobilization.

«We issued orders, certificates, all things that were incomplete, we completed them at the regional level. Mobile commissions will travel, check, and we will catch evaders. However, at the end of the month, Mykolaiv Oblast showed the best results in terms of mobilization. And I thank the people. We have fewer people, but the percentage that goes to the Armed Forces after the MPC is larger. I thank our men and women very much for this,» said Vitali Kim.

He added that 33,000 people from the Mykolayiv region were mobilized during the full-scale war, of which 21,000 were in combat units.

«That's why all of us went like that. And they did not go to the rear, but to recapture the Mykolayiv region, the south. Therefore, we do not have such a pressing question. Those who did not want to, moved to Odesa, hang out there,» said the head of the OVA.

It will be recalled that on August 16, the State Bureau of Investigation reported the discovery of a large-scale scheme for making money by issuing «false» medical certificates of unfitness for military service at the Mykolaiv Regional Mental Health Center. According to the investigation, this «business» was organized by the director of the medical institution, Viktor Taran, involving subordinate doctors who produced the necessary certificates, and a law enforcement officer who was engaged in recruiting clients.

On August 17, the court took into custody a police officer involved in the case of issuing «false» certificates. The suspect pleaded guilty during the court hearing.

The deputy head of Mykolayiv RMA, Yurii Hranaturov, said that the corrupt scheme of making money from fraudsters in the regional mental health center exposed by law enforcement officers is an isolated case in the medical field of the region.

He also added that the State Bureau of Investigation will conduct an additional inspection at the Mykolaiv Regional Center of Mental Health to find out whether other doctors are involved in the corrupt scheme of making money on evasion.

On August 23, it became known that the director of the Mykolaiv Regional Mental Health Center, Viktor Taran , was sent on unpaid leave until the end of his employment contract — November 15, 2023.

As of December 12, the SBI could not say whether they had announced suspicions against the head of the psychiatric hospital, who was previously called the «organizer» of the scheme to make money on evasions in Mykolaiv.

We remind that the deputy of the regional council, doctor Svitlana Fedorova, suggested to colleagues to gather face-to-face and invite representatives of the procurement center to hand out summonses.
