On the night of August 21, the Ukrainian military struck the positions of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile complex near the settlement of Novoshakhtynsk in the Rostov region of Russia.

As reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian occupiers are using the S-300 complexes to attack Ukraine.

Units of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine participated in this strike in cooperation with other units of the Defense Forces. The military targeted the position of the enemy's S-300 anti-aircraft missile complex.

«According to the data of objective control, explosions were recorded at the indicated points. The accuracy of the damage is still being investigated,» the message reads.

We will remind that on the night of June 10, Ukrainian soldiers struck anti-aircraft missile systems in the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea. Earlier, paratroopers of the Mykolaiv 79th separate airborne assault brigade of the Tavrian brigade showed how they destroyed 18 units of enemy equipment in Donetsk region.
