A military man is on trial in Mykolaiv for the murder of two people

The Central Court of Mykolaiv sent a serviceman suspected of murdering two people into custody.

This was reported in the press service of the Mykolaiv Central Court.

It is indicated that the 38-year-old man, together with two other servicemen of his military unit, were drinking alcohol. Later, a quarrel began between the men. According to the case file, the suspect took a machine gun and shot two other soldiers. As a result of the injuries received, the victims died.

At the court hearing, the suspect did not object to the suspicion and the choice of preventive measure. Based on the results of the case, the judge sent the soldier into custody without determining the amount of bail.

It was previously reported that a resident of Mykolaiv is suspected of murdering a neighbor : he faces up to 10 years in prison.
