The government has allocated more than ₴10 billion to strengthen the protection of the power system: Ukrenergo

Ukraine will allocate 10 billion hryvnias for projects to build protection systems around power facilities.

This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a working visit to Zaporizhzhia region. There, he inspected a power facility that was damaged by a Russian strike.

«To minimise damage, we are implementing projects to build protection systems around power facilities. This is a priority for each region», said Denys Shmyhal.

As a reminder, in October 2024, Ukraine redirected 86 million euros as part of a loan from the European Investment Bank to protect and modernise its energy infrastructure, including substations.
