Mykolaiv hospital receives thermal containers for vaccine storage from international partners

Thermal containers for transporting and temporarily storing vaccines. Photo: Mykolaiv Health Department.The Mykolaiv Primary Healthcare Centre №5 received thermal containers for the transportation and temporary storage of vaccines as humanitarian aid from UNICEF.
This was reported by the Mykolaiv Health Department.
It is noted that such thermal containers are necessary to comply with the conditions of the «cold chain» during transportation, as well as temporary storage of vaccines at the facility and when they are used by mobile teams.
«A reliable cold chain is the key to the success of any immunisation programme. We are grateful to our partners for updating important equipment», the statement said.
As a reminder, Mykolaiv City Emergency Hospital received a microscope for neurosurgery.
