There is Wi-Fi coverage in 400 general secondary education institutions in Mykolaiv Oblast (97%), allowing students and teachers to use online resources.
This is evidenced by the data provided in the Mykolaiv Oblast Development Strategy until 2027, according to NikVesti.
However, only 70% of schools are connected to high-speed Internet (30 Mbps or more). This can affect the quality of distance learning and access to digital educational platforms.
How the situation with high-speed internet in schools in Mykolaiv region has changed
Over the past five years, schools' access to high-speed internet has improved significantly. While in 2019 only 35% of schools had a high-quality connection, as of 2024 this figure has increased.
