Ukraine has increased production of cruise missiles by 8 times

In 2024, the Ministry of Strategic Industries increased the production of cruise missiles by 8 times compared to 2023.

This was announced by the Minister of Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin, according to «Suspilne».

«If the year before last, as a country, we could produce only one cruise missile — it was «Neptune», then last year we had a lot of new products that provided an 8-fold increase in production compared to 2023», Herman Smetanin said.

Herman Smetanin added that by the end of 2025, Ukraine will be able to produce $35 billion worth of military equipment.

According to Oleksandr Kamyshin, the Presidential Advisor on Strategic Issues, Ukraine is currently able to supply the Armed Forces with almost the entire range of military goods.

Kamyshin noted that 30% to 40% of the weapons used at the front are currently produced in Ukraine.
