Mykolaiv will report on the humanitarian aid the city is receiving

Information about the humanitarian aid received by Mykolaiv will be published quarterly on the website.

This decision was taken by members of the executive committee at a meeting on 8 April, according to NikVesti.

Tetiana Dmytrova, head of the Municipal Property Management Department of Mykolaiv City Council, noted that the website detailing the humanitarian aid received by the city will be updated quarterly. The Department of Municipal Property has been tasked with updating the website with information on the humanitarian aid received. The Department of Internal Financial Control, Supervision and Anti-Corruption is to publish reports on the audit of aid usage, whilst the Information Support Department will publish news articles with photos of the aid received.

«We are moving towards becoming the most transparent community in Ukraine regarding our work with international partners and reporting on the aid received. We are also pursuing this through documentation,» said Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych.

Fifteen members of the executive committee supported the draft decision.

It was previously reported that the Mykolaiv Regional Council will train councillors on how to act with integrity. The councillors will undergo training to avoid corruption risks in their work.
