The Russian side claims that the Ukrainian military allegedly tried to break through the border and gain a foothold in the Sudzhanskyi and Korenivskyi districts of the Kursk region. There is currently no official confirmation from the Ukrainian side.
According to the information of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, approximately 300 Ukrainian soldiers on 11 tanks and 20 armored vehicles allegedly attempted to break through.

According to local media reports, six Russian soldiers were captured by the Armed Forces, and the Russian Telegram channel «VChK-OGPU» claims that the Chechen special forces «Akhmat» stationed on the border have left their positions, and 15 soldiers were injured.
