The occupiers are strengthening the front with concrete blocks and building a railway in Mariupol

In Mariupol, the movement of Russian military equipment and concrete blocks to strengthen the front line is recorded.

This was reported in the Mariupol City Council with reference to the opposition of the city.

«The activity of the Russian occupiers has intensified. At the same time, they are rapidly developing railway logistics and using the Mariupol port to strengthen their positions and fortifications on the front line,» the message reads.

In particular, concrete blocks and other structures for strengthening new and existing fortifications have been fixed in the port.

The city council adds that the goal of the Russian occupiers is to show military victories. As of 2022, Mariupol remains the largest city in Ukraine that was taken by the Russians, and their biggest «victory trophy» that they use in their propaganda.
