People's deputy Mykola Tyshchenko was informed of the suspicion of illegal deprivation of liberty after a conflict with an ex-soldier in Dnipro.

This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General.

According to the investigation, on June 20, a group of people at the direction of Mykola Tyshchenko attacked Dmytro Pavlov, a former fighter of the Kraken special unit, while he was walking with a child. At the same time, they inflicted physical injuries on him and illegally detained him for a certain period of time.

In addition to Mykola Tyshchenko, another person who participated in illegal actions was notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 127 and Part 2 of Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Measures to identify others involved in the attack on the former soldier are also ongoing.

As reported by the State Bureau of Investigation, Deputy Tyshchenko was searched, during which he was also informed of the suspicion of illegal deprivation of liberty under Part 2 of Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. If convicted, he could face up to five years in prison.
