Paralympics-2024: Mykolaiv swimmer Hontar won the third award

Mykolaiv athlete Anna Hontar won the third prize at the para-swimming competition at the 2024 Paralympic Games.

Anna Hontar, Yaroslav Semenenko, Iryna Poida and Oleksandr Komarov as part of the national team of Ukraine won bronze awards in the 4×50 mixed relay in complex swimming (20 points).

Ukrainian swimmers finished the final swim with a European record — 2:31.51.

As a reminder, at the 2024 Paralympics, Ukraine will be represented by 140 athletes competing in 17 sports. Athletes from Mykolaiv represented Ukraine at the Paralympic Games in four sports: pair swimming, wheelchair fencing, pair athletics and pair table tennis.
