Meeting with six-time Olympic medalist in fencing Olha Kharlan in Mykolaiv, Photo NikVestiMykolaiv Olympic champion Olha Kharlan announced the opening of a fencing school for children in Ukraine.
As LB.ua reports, she said this during the autograph session.
According to Olha Kharlan, opening such a school is her dream.
«You have to live and think about the future, so now I plan to open my fencing academy. This is my dream. I really want to share my experience teaching children. During 24 years of fencing, I learned something and I can share it in order to bring this sport to a new level in Ukraine,» said the fencer.
We will remind that in 2017, at that time, the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, took part in the official opening of a new fencing hall in Peremohy Park in Mykolaiv. Then he called the fencing hall the best in Ukraine. Olha Kharlan was also present at the opening.
