stadium in Mykolaiv and municipal institution

The Central City Stadium is a stadium in Mykolaiv and the municipal institution of the same name, which runs four of the city’s sports facilities. In June 2022 a Russian missile hit the stadium and damaged the running tracks. They were not repaired in 2023: Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych said the work would cost almost ₴25 million and would wait until after the war.

Director Volodymyr Kosse was dismissed in 2024, and in December that year Senkevych said he had picked a new head. As of May 2026 the institution is headed by Viacheslav Misarenko, who declared ₴598,094 in income for 2025. In May 2026 regional councillors complained that the tracks had still not been restored, and in September 2026 the city said it wanted to repair two of them.

MykVisti covers the state of the stadium, its funding and its managers.
